DURAT

COMPOSITION	DURAT is a solid polyester based material containing 30% recycled acrylic and polyester. Durat is 100% recyclable.

UV STABILITY	Durat's new, cutting-edge resin system offers rich stable color that won't fade with UV exposure or discolor over time. In addition, this new water-based resin allows Durat to be manufactured in a wide range of colors or even customized to match specific color needs.Organic pigments assure superior UV resistance, color stability and even color distribution throughout the entire panel.
FABRICATION	Durat can be fabricated using standard wood-working and CNC tools. Durat can be invisibly joined similar to other solid surfacing materials.
FINISHING, MAINTENANCE & REFINISHING	Durat panels are supplied with a semi-gloss press finish and should require no finishing. Durat sheets require little maintenance. Surface dirt can be easily removed using a mild detergent and warm water, however abrasive cleaners should be used with caution. Test in an inconspicuous area first. Any scratches can be carefully sanded out with a fine grade of paper.
DELIVERY TIME	Subject to stock availability, colours stocked locally can be delivered to Australian capital cities within 5-10 working days.
INSTALLATION/FIXING	Most types of physical fastenings can be used including screws, clips, rivets and bolts, especially those recommended for MDF boards.
GUARANTEE & LIFECYCLE	Durat is guaranteed against manufacturing faults for up to 5 years. Durat is fully refinishable and BESD offer to take back any Durat still in a reasonable condition at the end of the project lifecycle. As Durat contains recycled content, some variation in colour between samples and batches is an inherent unavoidable characteristic of the product.
