These wash basins are manufactured from exactly the same silky, warm, 100% recyclable material as the Durat sheets, allowing for an easy flow or coordination of benchtops or splashbacks into finished goods. 

Designers can choose from three different sink shapes – round, oval or rectangle – which can then be utilised in three different ways – stand alone wash basin onto a bench, stand alone wash basin onto a stainless steel base or integrated into the benchtop.

Additionally, there are also four Designer Series stand alone basins to choose from.

SPECIFICATIONS

COMPOSITION DURAT Wash Basins are made from Durat, a solid polyester based material containing 40% recycled acrylic and polyester. Durat is 100% recyclable.
RECOMMENDED APPLICATIONS Depending on the design, self-standing, sitting on a bench or stand or wall mounted.
COLOUR RANGE Durat Wash Basins are available in a broad range of colours. Contact your local BESD office for more details
SIZE Oval - 490w x 320 x 155d
Round - 380w x 380 x 150d
Rectangle - 400w x 350 x 130d or 500w x 350 x 130d

Each sink shape is available cast into either a 600w x 500 x 180d or 1000w x 500 x 180d wash basin. This wash basin can then either sit on a benchtop or steel base. Alternatively, on a custom basis, sink shapes can be integrated into the benchtop with a near seamless join.

Wash Basins in the Designer Series are available as stand alone items.

FINISHING, MAINTENANCE & REFINISHING DURAT Wash Basins are supplied with a semi-gloss press finish and should require no finishing.
Durat Wash Basins require little maintenance.Surface dirt can be easily removed using a mild detergent and warm water, however abrasive cleaners should be used with caution.Test in an inconspicuous area first.
Any scratches can be carefully sanded out with a fine grade of paper.
DELIVERY TIME All DURAT Wash Basins are supplied on an indent basis. Lead time is 6-8 weeks.
INSTALLATION/FIXING DURAT Wash Basins are sold with waste and overflow component included.
GUARANTEE & LIFECYCLE DURAT Wash Basins are guaranteed against manufacturing faults for up to 5 years.
DURAT is fully refinishable and BESD offer to take back any DURAT Wash Basin still in a reasonable condition at the end of the project lifecycle.
As DURAT Wash Basins contain recycled content, some variation in colour between samples and batches is an inherent unavoidable characteristic of
the product.
DURAT Wash Basins returned to Baresque will not end up in landfill.
